Tramlines Festival Call for Emerging Talent

Maintaining their reputation as one of the best places to hear new music, Tramlines have put out a call for emerging acts to play the Sheffield festival’s eighth year. Up and coming talent can apply to play alongside acts including Dizzee Rascal, Field Music, Hinds, Kelis and Little Simz at the UK’s largest metropolitan festival.

Speaking to Indiehive earlier this year, Festival Director Sarah Nulty said: “Previous people we’ve had, like alt-j… they were in a 100-capacity venue when we booked them. We didn’t realise how big they’d get,” and Tramlines has consistently demonstrated it’s a place dedicated to breaking talent with acts like George Ezra, Alunageorge and The xx all playing relatively intimate shows in past years.
