Back in August we gave Manchester band Spring King a disposable camera to take with them over the weekend as they journeyed from North to South playing Leeds and Reading Festivals.
Here’s what happened.
The festival weekend started on Friday in sunny Leeds where the band arrived later than anticipated after their car broke down.
Not long after arriving they were straight into doing some press and photographing the NME photographer.

For a Friday afternoon the Leeds crowd were totally up for it.
Watching Kendrik Lamar on the main stage.
Post Leeds. The band with Tarek’s nephew, sporting his own Spring King t-shirt.
The lads reckon between them they probably know around 65% of the service stations on the motorway and which have fruit machines and the best eats.

Post Reading set, exhausted and chilling in the car.
The end of the weekend. Chilling backstage, getting ready to play the after party show in Reading with Sundara Karma.*
