Local label Dance to the Radio are once again hosting the Welcome to Leeds Stage on Thursday night of Leeds Festival, curating a line-up that includes The Bohicas and Pulled Apart By Horses.
Last year, the Leeds Fest Eve party included acts like Superfood and Honeyblood and 2015’s line-up looks to serve up another fine slice of new and exciting talent. Leeds’ very own Carnabells will be bringing their self-proclaimed ‘guitar thrashing, piano bashing, feet stamping rock ‘n’ roll’ to the stage as will Domino Records’ The Bohicas, who have just had the honour of being Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World for their latest effort, Swarm.
Also joining the line-up are Sheffield indie band RedFaces as well as Vitamin, who will be providing some serious summer vibes with electro-infused melodies that have brought them comparisons to the likes of Swim Deep and Peace.
The cherry on top of this cracking line-up is the return of Pulled Apart By Horses to Leeds Fest, after having to cancel their slot on the Main Stage last year due to illness. The local heroes will be back in full swing with their notoriously riotous performances making this stage a must-see for all early arrivals.
These newly-announced acts will join artists like alt-j, Wolf Alice, Slaves and Spring King throughout the 3 day festival in Bramham Park.
